Federal Cabinet Endorses NSC Decision on Trump’s Statement  

Islamabad (January 03, 2018): The federal cabinet meeting has weighted in of National Security Council meeting proceedings over the US president Donald Trump anti-Pakistan statement and have the view that US anti-Pakistan statements caused the rift between Pakistan and Us relations.

The federal cabinet meeting was held with the chair of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

In a declaration issued at the end of the cabinet meeting, participants have expressed disappointment over the Us president and administration statements and termed that such kind of statements have damaged the Pak-US generation old ties.

The federal cabinet has also approved to notify provisional results of Census 2017.

The approval was given at a meeting in Islamabad today (Wednesday) with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair.

According to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the district and tehsil level record of blocks is being handed over to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for timely general elections of 2018.

According to the provisional results, the total population of Pakistan is about 208 million, whereas Punjab counts for 110 million people, Sindh 47.8, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 30.5, Balochistan 12.3, FATA five, and Islamabad two million people.
