Federal Cabinet Extends Afghan Refugees Stay for Three Months

Islamabad (June 30, 2018): Caretaker federal cabinet has decided to grant an interim extension of three months to the registered Afghan refugees in the country.

The decision was made at a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad on Saturday with Prime Minister retired Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk in the chair.

The meeting discussed, in detail, the issue of extension in the stay of the Afghan Refugees. It was further decided to place the matter before the incoming elected government.

The budget of Capital Development Authority for the year 2018-19 was also approved by the Cabinet.

The Finance Minister also briefed the Cabinet about the deliberations during the recently held meeting of Financial Action Task Force in Paris.
