ISLAMABAD: Federal cabinet meeting has commenced in chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan to review 15-point agenda.
The huddle is reviewing 15-point agenda while according to sources, the federal cabinet will also consider amendment in the President and Prime Minister’s salaries and privileges Act 1975.
The meeting will also consider the procedure for appointment and transfer of IG Sindh, while the cabinet will ratify the Economic (ECC) decision on wheat imports
The federal cabinet will approve a one-time import of chemical peroxylene from India, while the agenda also includes the issuance of license of prohibited and unlawful bore arms and the appointment of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Vice Chairman.
The meeting will also approve the Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) for Ministry of Housing for the construction of 5 million homes and the issue of setting up a National Commission on the Rights of the Child will also be considered.
The federal cabinet will be given a briefing on institutional reforms and the issue of nomination of PIA board directors will also be on the agenda.
