Islamabad: Federal government on Monday filed appeal in Supreme Court against the Lahore High Corot verdict allowing Shahbaz Sharif to go abroad. While the appeal has insisted the top court to suspend the LHC verdict until decision of the appeal.
The appeal has insisted the court to declare the LHC verdict for removal of Shahbaz Sharif name from exit control list. It is said in the appeal that the orders of the LHC can’t be retained in the eyes of law adding that the LHC neither sought reply from respective officials nor any report and one sided decision can not be awarded.
The federal government said that there is no grantee of return of Shahbaz Sharif adding that Shahbaz Sharif is also guarantor of the return of Nawaz Sharif whereas his wife, son, daughter and son in-law are already absconder.
It is pertinent to mention here that the LHC has allowed Shahbaz Sharif to go abroad for two months on medical basis and had said that Shahbaz Sharif’s conditional permission will be from May 8 To July 5.
