Federal Govt Not Trying To Seperate Karachi From Sindh: Firdous Ashiq Awan

Karachi: Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi has said that the federal government is not trying separate Karachi from Sindh while Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah will work on the order of Prime Minister Imran Khan with the imposition of article 149.

During a presser of opposition leaders in Sindh Assembly, the PTI Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that Karachi is a crown of Sindh and backbone of the country’s economy.

The opposition leader said that the federal government is not talking about control of any area and the issue has been given the wrong color while over resistance the federal government will be compelled to knock Supreme Court doors under article 184.

The member of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Husnain Mirza said that Sindh is one and will remain so.

The opposition leaders said that if the federal government is helping our children should we not take it? under article 149 the federal government can order the provinces but the provincial government implements its orders.
