Federal Govt Refuses APTMA Smooth Power Supply Demand

Islamabad(May 16, 2018): The federal Govt has refused to the smooth power supply demand by APTMA delegation while reassured the reduction in price and sorting out the refund matter.

The delegation of APTMA met Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq and Minister Finance Miftah Ismail in the chamber of Speaker. Miftah Ismail was talking to media after the meeting when he told that the industrial sector has to face 10 hours of load-shedding to assure a continuous supply of electricity to the residential consumers. Punjab is being supplied gas for three days instead of two days to fulfill the demand of electricity.

He told that the APTMA delegation has demanded to reduce 3 rupees/unit which will be discussed in the cabinet meeting of Financial Committee.
