ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday announced to provide non-stop electricity to the rural and urban areas of Balochistan.
Prime Minister chaired a meeting at his office and directed to provide an additional three hours of electricity to all the feeders in Balochistan. The additional power supply will be provided to the masses for the upcoming three months.
The premier has also ordered to convert as much as 3,0000 tube wells to solar energy within the next three months in Balochistan province.
On the other hand, the Federal Minister for Power Division Umar Ayub Khan is destined to visit Balochistan by the next month to review the power crisis in the province.
The meeting was attended by Federal Defence Minister Parvez Khattak, Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri, SAPM Shehzad Arbab, Federal Power Minister Umar Ayub, Jahangir Tareen, Federal Minister Zubaida Jalal and MNA Khalid Magsi.
