HYDERABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted a crackdown against Hundi and Hawala operators in Hyderabad resulted in the arrest two men, Syed Khalid and his son Syed Saad allegedly involved in money laundering.
During the raid, an FIA team seized a huge quantity of incriminating material. The material included currency notes of Pakistan and foreign countries (more than Rs1.7 million) and prize bonds worth Rs7.7 million.
According to FIA, suspects were involved in smuggling of foreign currency. However, a case has been filed against the father and a son.
