Finally Rumors reach to an end, Noor Alam Joins PTI Ranks

Islamabad (May 23, 2017): Finally rumors reached to an end and PPP senior leader Noor Alam announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) after meeting with Imran Khan in Islamabad today.

According to the details, close aide of co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari Noor Alam on Tuesday Tuesday joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Noor Alam, who was one of the most senior PPP leaders in KP, met with PTI Chairman Imran Khan on his residence, Bani Gala and expressed complete trust in Imran Khan’s leadership.

Commenting over quitting party he said “It was a difficult decision for me but I am left with no option,” while referring to his eventful journey that also included a jail term. He was put behind bars during the rule of former President Parvez Musharraf in 2007.

Khan was elected MNA from Peshawar in 2008. He also hit headlines, when he disclosure of his assets worth billions to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Talking on the occasion Imran Khan said that  ” Nawaz Sharif seems innocent but he is fascist,” adding that PTI workers could not be frightened of government’s revenging action.

He claimed several leaders of ruling party are ready to join PTI.

“Many others want to leave PML-N but are scared that they will also be treated like Chaudhary Aijaz”, he added.

Commenting on PM’s Saudi Arabia visit Imran said that SA’s rulers treatment with PM was embarrassing as corrupt PM dealt the way he was treated.

He said that new people bring new life to the party, adding that background check of the newcomers is always taken into consideration by the party.

Khan said that the Sharif brothers may look simple but deep inside they are fascists, further adding that restriction on social media in the name of protecting the sanctity of army is ‘shameful’.

The PTI Chairman said: “Nawaz Sharif is so happy after the handshake with US President Donald Trump that it appears he has found paradise,” adding, “it seems that he was not given the opportunity to speak in the Riyadh Conference due to the ongoing JIT investigation against him.”

Noor Alam was also the Member Organizing Committee of the Pakistan People’s Party and an ex-MNA from Peshawar.

He was the richest lawmaker of the lower house of the parliament in 2008 and he declared his personal assets worth billions of rupees.
