ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar will preside over an Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting in the federal capital on Wednesday (today) on an eight-point agenda.
In the meeting, summary on freezing Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) dues of unpaid duty charges worth Rs96 billion will be presented.
Moreover, a summary will be presented before ECC members on the issuance of funds for return and restoration of Internally Displaced Person (IDPs) in North Waziristan.
Discussion on relaxing NOC grant to foreign hunters’ hunting weapons and instruments is also likely to take place during the meeting.
ECC meeting is also likely to give approval on the provision of an additional grant worth Rs15 crore for Health ministry.
