‘Finding Dory’ is scheduled to be released in 2016
“Finding Dory” is an upcoming 2-D computer-animated film, which will serve as a sequel to the 2003 Pixar film “Finding Nemo.” The forthcoming film chronicles on the amnesiac Dory and focuses on her reunion with her family. Set in the coast of California, the movie will also take place a year after the events in “Finding Nemo.”
The cast members of the upcoming film include Ellen DeGenere as Dory, a Pacific regal blue tang; Albert Brooks as Marlin, a clownfish and Nemo’s father; Diane Keaton as Jenny, Dory’s mother; Eugene Levy as Charlie, Dory’s father; Ty Burrell as Bailey, a beluga whale; Willem Dafoe as Gill, a Moorish idol; Vicki Lewis as Deb, a four-striped damselfish; Kaitlin Olson as Dory’s adopted sister, a killer whale, Dominic West, and Idris Elba.
The upcoming animated film is set to be directed by Andrew Stanton, who is the same director for the original film, and is produced by Lindsey Collins, with Victoria Strouse and Andrew Stanton as writers and Thomas Newman as music director.
