Islamabad (November 30, 2017): The FIR of attack on Abb Takk News DSNG during the Faizabad sit-in at Sadiqabad police station here.
The FIR was registered against unknown attackers.

On November 25, furious protesters targeted the media persons and attacked Abbtakk News Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG), van used for live coverage, and damaged it.
The DSNG van was covering the Faizabad sit-in and police crackdown when some enraged protesters attacked the van and damaged it as some people tried to snatch the camera and mobile from the staff of the Abbatakk News.
The FIR has booked unknown attackers. Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PBA) had strongly condemned violence by the protesters against journalists including reporters, camera men and technical staff.
Burning of media vans and DSNGs is highly condemnable, the statement said.
Besides Abb Takk News, DSNG vans of Samma, and Geo were also attacked during the protest.
‘PBA demands that Government take action against the culprits and provide security to the journalists and property of media houses performing their constitutional responsibilities”.
