Lahore (May 05, 2017) : Fire broke out in a house in Lahore which gutted millions of rupees furniture and other articles.
As per details, fire broke out in a house in Officers Colony in Cavalry Ground, which turned millions of rupees furniture and other articles into ashes.
Soon after the fire broke out, area people informed Fire Brigade department and Rescue 1122. Rescue officials and fire fighters along with fire tenders rushed to the site. After hours long efforts, the firefighters doused the flames.
Rescue officials said that no one was present in the house at the time of fire. They added that the cause of fire was short circuit.
It is to be mentioned here that incidents of industrial and domestic fire are common in Pakistan due to lack of fire safety measures in buildings and industrial concerns. They residential apartments and industries also lack fire exits and other measures which led to loss of precious human lives.
On Wednesday four bogies of a train parked at the Harbanspura station caught fire, with one completely destroyed while three were partially burnt.
