Fire in Turkish Capital Kills 5 Afghan Workers

ANKARA: Five Afghan workers were killed and eleven others were injured in a building fire in the Turkish capital Ankara on Friday.

The fire has erected in an abandoned three-story building in the Iskitler Ata Industrial Housing Estate, where paper collectors, most of which were Afghan nationals, used as a warehouse.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The death toll in the fire may increase, local news agencies said, adding that efforts to identify the victims were underway.
