ISLAMABAD: Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf worker and owner of a hotel, while traders in area blocked traffic in protest after the incident.
According to details, unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at hotel located in Sitara Market in Sector G-7 area, due to which hotel owner Chaudhary Nisar has been killed. The traders closed shops immediately after the incident and staged protest against the killing. The protesters said that there are security posts at several places in Islamabad, but a common citizen is at risk of any terrorism.
Police said that the dead body of killed Chaudhary Nisar has been shifted to Poly Clinic Hospital. Police officials said to investigate the case from several angles and soon they will find out the killer.
Meanwhile, MNA Asad Umar expressed deep regrets over killing of PTI worker Chaudhary Nisar, saying that was the second incident during past 24 hours, adding that such incidents in Capital raise question mark over government performance.
