HOLLYWOOD: The first trailer of Marvel’s “Black Widow”starring Scarlett Johansson has been released.
After Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man, now is the turn of Black Widow for it’s origin story play on the big screen.
In the trailer we see, Romanoff approaches the door of an apartment building with her gun drawn and she comes face to face with another woman with her gun drawn as well. It’s (Florence Pugh) as the character Yelena Belova, who Romanoff calls “sis.”
The new trailer also gives fans a closer look at (David Harbour) as the fatherly character Alexei Shostakov, also known as the Red Guardian; as well as (Rachel Weisz) as the character Melina. This could mean that fans will not only see Romanoff reconnect with her assassin “family” but she will also be fighting alongside them.
The film will be set in Budapest. Fans first heard Romanoff mention Budapest during the first Avengers film in 2012, when she chatted with Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) about a mysterious adventure in the Hungarian city.
“It’s a film about self-forgiveness… and family”Johansson said.
The movie will hit the cinemas on 1st May next year.
