Karachi: As many as five dacoits were killed in alleged encounter with the police in Defense Phase four.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Zubair Nazeer apprised that the robbers have entered in a house with intention of robbery while the police reached the spot as it received information.
The robbers opened fire on the police as the reached the location and all five dacoits were killed in retaliatory fire with the police.
The SSP informed that arms and ammunition recovered from the possession of the robbers adding that with initial investigation the dacoits seem to be members of a seraiki gang while their criminal record is being checked.
On the other hand in an another shoot out with the police two robbers arrested while arms and snatched valuable also recovered from the possession of the robbers.
