KARACHI: Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh Mola Baksh Chandio on Saturday attributed MQM’s defeat in PS-127 by-election to correct and flawless delimitation of electoral constituencies.
Addressing a PPP workers’ convention held at People’s Secretariat Karachi, Chandio said that all the tall claims of MQM regarding victory in the PS-127 by-polls proved wrong and they suffered a heavy defeat.
He said that despite MQM rallies in the election campaign, PPP clinched victory in the poll.
The Information Advisor said that Sindh government had supported MQM in Sindh. He further said though the provincial government had provided the required security to MQM Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar, he was still talking about security.
Chandio also came down hard on PTI chief Imran Khan in his speech. He said that after Raiwind march it would be clear with whom they masses are?
Addressing the convention, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that holding public meetings and rallies was political parties’ right. “But MQM did get nothing by holding public meetings and rallies in Ps-127 as PPP won the by-election,” he added.
