MIAM, FLORIDA: A 32-year-old man Joseph Schreiber was awarded 30-year jail sentence for torching a mosque at Islamic Center of Fort Pierce lat year on September 11 last year which was also the Muslim holy day of Eid al-Adha.
Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen, who killed 49 and wounded dozens more at a nightclub in Orlando last June, once worshiped at the said mosque.
The fire caused over $ 100,000 damage to the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce.
