ISTANBUL: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has called New Zealand counterpart Winston Peter on sidelines of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) the hurriedly called meeting in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The two foreign ministers deliberated upon the terrorist attack in New Zealand and on bilateral relations.
At the occasion, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the horrific terrorist attack in two mosques of Christchurch has shaken the world.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi paid rich tribute to New Zealand Premier Jacinda Ardern over his exemplary handling of the situation after the attack and looking after the victims and families who lost their lives in the attack adding that the government of Pakistan and people of Pakistan both stands with New Zealand in its difficult time.
Foreign Minister of New Zealand Winston Peter condoled with Shah Mahmood Qureshi over nine Pakistanis death in the attack adding that the government of New Zealand is looking after the injured.
