ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday has departed for Turkey to participate in the open-ended emergency meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers.
According to details, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi will present Pakistan’s narrative in Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) session about New Zealand mosque attacks and “increasing violence based on Islamophobia”.
The OIC meeting will also discuss the efforts to protect and support Muslim communities throughout the world.
The Pakistani foreign minister will also hold important meetings with New Zealand, Turkey and Iranian counterparts.
Earlier, addressing media briefing at Foreign Office in Islamabad on Thursday afternoon, Shah Mehmood said, on one hand, India is blaming Pakistan for Pulwama incident without any proof while on the other it’s National Investigation Agency Court has acquitted all the four accused in Samjhauta Express train attack, in which forty-four innocent Pakistanis were gunned down.
