ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has telephoned Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) Secretary General Dr. Yousuf Bin Ahmed wherein grim situation of occupied Kashmir and human rights violations were deliberated upon.
Talking to the OIC secretary-general Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that India has been committing atrocities on armless Kashmiris while people of Kashmir were not allowed even to offer Eid and Jummah prayers.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that all kinds of communications means have been banned in the Indian held Kashmir so that facts could not be surfaced in front of the world while India’s Modi government its own opposition delegation led by Rahul Gandhi after they arrived in occupied Kashmir.
The Foreign Minister informed the secretary-general OIC in given conditions Kashmiris are seeing towards the OIC and hoped that it will play an effective role in the grave situation of Indian held Kashmir.
The secretary-general of OIC expressed concerned on the situation in Indian Held Kashmir and said that the organization had called the OIC contact group meeting on Kashmir and still we have kept eye on the Kashmir situation.
