FM Qureshi Departs For Tajikistan

Islamabad (October 11, 2018): Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday departed for Tajikistan to attend the summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

According to the details, the leaders of SCO will meet on October 11-12 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s capital.

Sources said that it will be another opportunity for Pakistan and Indian foreign ministers to come close after the UN assembly session.

FM will return home on Friday.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit China November 3.

During his first visit to China as prime minister, he will meet high-level Chinese leadership and issues related to CPEC, Railway and others will come under discussion.

The premier will be accompanied by Finance Minister Asad Umar, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed, the planning minister and other officials.

A meeting has been called on Friday to discuss what should be the premier’s priorities during his visit to China and what issues he should highlight.

Plans for his trip are complete and the government is now doing their homework before this important meeting.
