ISLAMABAD: Foreign office spokeswoman Aisha Farooqui has urged the media to report the events and news with true context and facts.
The spokesman said that the media presented Foreign Minister interview aired in today’s morning with a negative headline which was far from the truth.
Aisha Farooqui said that the government of Pakistan is taking an effective and comprehensive measures for containing the global pandemic.
She said that facts based and factually true reporting is the need of the hour adding that the foreign minister in his interview clarified that the whole of the world combating the pandemic while the rate of spread of the virus in some of the countries are high.
The spokeswoman said that every country needs to take decision in keeping its situation in mind, in the same way Pakistan is also taking its decision keeping its economic and social situation in mind.
She added that the situation is evolving and the government is reviewing it continuously.
Aisha Farooqui said that whole of the nation is facing the challenge of global pandemic.
