Foreign reserves of the country have reached new historic height as it surpassed to 21 billion and 31 dollar.
As per the statistics issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) as a whole 48 crore and 94 lakhs dollars have increased in this week and it reached to new height of 21 billion and 31 crore dollar.
Expert said that reduction in import bill and increase in foreign remittance resulted into raise in foreign reserve.
During the week the central bank reserve recorded at 16 billion 51 crore 75 Lakh dollar while commercial banks reserve recorded amount of 4 billion 80 caroor 19 lakh dollar.
