ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday could not present details of its donor on the occasion of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) scrutiny committee meeting.
Director General Law of the ECP Arshad Khan presided the scrutiny committee meeting while the huddle giving the last chance to the PML-N has directed the PML-N to provide details of its donner on the next hearing.
The committee has asked the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to provide its local funding details instead of the foreign funding.
The scrutiny committee has called the PML-N and PPP on December 23 once again.
Talking to media the PPP counsel Shahbaz Khosa said “the committee asked us to provide local funding instead of foreign funding while we have insisted that first carry out questioning to Farukh Habib who have hurled accusations regarding the foreign funding adding that the party has no any foreign account abroad.
