ISLAMABAD: Commander In-chief of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General (Retd.) Raheel Sharif held meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi where they discussed matters of mutual interest and regional affairs.
During the meeting, Raheel Sharif apprised Foreign Minister regarding efforts of IMCTC for eliminating terrorism. FM Qureshi praised efforts of the Islamic military alliance.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the military alliance was formed on December 15 – 2015 which was initial consisting of 34 countries but now the number of its members reached to 41.
Former Army Chief General (Retd.) Raheel Sharif was appointed as first commander in-chief of the military alliance formed to eliminate terrorism from the Islamic countries.
