Committee presents recommendations of improvements for National cricket team in next mega event, after analysis of failure in World cup 2015, whereas, improvement in fitness quality, continuity in selection and stability in the batting order have been urged.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) formed five-member committee to review national team’s poor performance in World cup which were held at Australia and New Zealand,chairman PCB Shehryar khan, Najam Sethi, Subhan Ahmad, Iqbal Qasim and Wasim Bari were presented there while committee was not held for several weeks,causing committee’ efficacy were ended.
Whereas,Shehryar Khan gave tasks to Iqbal Qasim and Waseem Bari to present recommendations for improvement in next World cup.
According to sources, both have given reports to PCB chairman, while Shehryar would review over the reports after he returned from India, and would discussed with both former chief selectors.
Iqbal Qasim and Waseem Bari urged to improve fitness of players in World cup of 2019, continuity in selection, improvement in fielding,stability in batting order and back up players were suggested.
