Foundation of MQM Haqiqi-2 Laid Today: Sattar

Karachi (February 11, 2018): Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Farooq Sattar on Sunday said that foundation of MQM Haqiqi-2 has been laid today.

While addressing a press conference, Farooq Sattar said that it was a conspiracy hatched against him. Sattar said that he was not removed from party’s headship but a sincere worker had been expelled from the party.He said reiterated that it was not the issue of a senate ticket, in fact it was a conspiracy against him which was exposed today.  Sattar asked that why  said that why Rabita Committee waited for senate elections, if he made such mistakes.Sattar said that all claims of reconciliation were false. He urged MQM activist to join today’s general workers convention in PIB colony to show their loyalty. He said that workers’ court will give its verdict today.Sattar explained that senate ticket was not a matter, the authority to issue tickets was the real issue. Sattar said that he will give curt reply in the KMC ground today.

Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement – Pakistan (MQM-P) Rabita Committee on Sunday sacked its convener Dr Farooq Sattar.

While addressing a press conference, senior party leader Kanwar Naveed Jameel announced to remove Farooq Sattar as the party’s convener.“The Rabita Committee has decided to remove Dr Farooq Sattar as the party’s convener,” said Kanwar Naveed Jameel on Sunday evening.

Jameel said, “Farooq Sattar breached the Rabita Committee’s trust. He changed the party’s constitution without bringing it into the knowledge of the Rabita Committee.”He further alleged that the former party chief had taken, in his control, the rights to select and remove party members without informing the coordination committee.

“We gave in to all of Farooq’s demands yet he was unwilling to lead the party,” Jameel said and added, “But he is still a member of our party.”
