PARIS: Protestors wearing ‘Yellow Vest’ clashed with police and law enforcement agencies on Sunday as the anti-government movement entered in the 28th weekend.
The protestors have taken over the road of the French Capital and other cities as they vowed to continue their movement till the resignation of the President Emmanuel Macron.
On the other hands, the riot police and the protestors clashed with each other which resulted in injuring scores of people.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ‘Yellow Vest’ protests, which have no organized leadership, began on November 17 over increasing fuel taxes. They quickly grew into a broader anti-government rebellion fuelled by anger towards Macron.
The protestors do gather every weekend to protest at the streets of Paris and other cities in France since the past 28 weeks.
