PESHAWAR: The funeral prayers for Sepoy Kashif Ali, who was martyred in firing by militant near Pak-Afghan border on Saturday, were offered in his native town of Nausher on Sunday.
A large number of people, including senior military officers and MNAs, attended Sepoy Kahsif Ali’s funeral prayers.
Sepoy Kashif was laid to rest today with full military honours for his supreme sacrifice for defending the motherland.
Earlier, four soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred and one was injured in firing by militants near the Pak-Afghan border, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
The personnel martyred in the incident include 23-year-old Sepoy Akhtar Hussain, Lance Naik Said Amin Afridi (28), Lance Naik Muhammad Shoaib Swati (31) and Sepoy Kashif Ali (22), the military’s media wing said.
The incident occurred in North Waziristan where miscreants opened fire on a routine patrolling party of security forces.
