G-7 Countries call for renewed common effort against Cyber Crime

Rome (May 13, 2017): The G-7 countries have called for taking steps to make the global economy work for everyone.

The call was made in a statement issued at end of the two-day summit of G-7 foreign ministers in Bari, Italy today.

The group, consisting of the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, and U.K, also called for a renewed common effort against cybercrime.

The agreements, presented in the form of a final statement, are not legally binding but they represent the leaders’ political commitment to follow through.
