Karachi (May 09, 2017): Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khwaja on Tuesday took notice of a news report carried out by AbbTakk News about alleged gang rape of a 12-year old house maid in Malir Cant area.
Talking notice of the incident, the top provincial cop sought details of the incident.
It is to be mentioned here a 12-year old house maid was allegedly gang raped in Malir Cant area. The father of the affected girl alleged that her daughter was raped after giving him some intoxicating substance.
The victim family approached police for registering FIR of the incident. However, police allegedly refused to lodge the case. After failure in getting justice despite running from pillar to the post the victim’s family, who originally hails from Kundh Kot Sindh, have gone to their native area.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh while condemning the heinous incident demanded of Sindh government to arrest the perpetrators immediately.
