LYARI: Police launched search operations in different areas of Lyari and arrested gang-war commander Rafiq Baloch and Muttahida Qaumi Movement activist Raheel.
According to the details, police hold search operations in Phool Pati Lane, Saifee Lane, Shah Beg Lane, Dubai Chowk and arrested gang-war commander Rafiq Baloch. Police recovered heavy weapons and drugs from his possession. Rafiq was affiliated with Baba Ladla group.
Police arrested Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activist Raheel in Agra Taj Colony but his accomplice Aga Mehboob managed to flee.
On the other hand a citizen foiled robbery bid in Korangi Industrial Area. The citizen collided his vehicle with dacoits motorcycle and resultantly the dacoits fell alongside the road near Cause Way. The dacoits left the motorcycle and managed to flee from the scene.
An eight-years old girl injured by a bullet that hit her from unknown direction. She was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
