Iranian diplomat Mehdi Honardoost has said that Gawadar and Chah Bahar ports will not be competitors, but will extend cooperation.
Addressing the Pakistan Iran joint House for Trade and Industry ceremony, Iranian diplomat said that Gawadar and Chah Bahar are partner ports. He said that Pakistan and Iran will soon sign free trade agreement, after which both countries will help resolve mutual issues of banking sector.
Mehdi Honardoost said that both countries capitals will begin direct flight on the beginning of new Iranian year. On this eve, Pakistani diplomat in Iran Asif Durrani said that there is an improvement in economic coordination between both countries and in future both countries agreed to extend trade to five billion dollars. Pakstani diplomat said that Iran Pakistan gas pipeline is moving forward rapidly and in next two years Iranian gas will reach Pakistan.
