Washington (October 25, 2017): Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat attended Chiefs of Defence Staff Conference in United States on subject of countering threat of violent extremism.
According to ISPR, the Conference was attended by representatives of 75 countries. Chairman also met Commander US Central Command. Gen Joseph L. Votel.
On sidelines of the Conference, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat also held bilateral meetings with Chiefs of Defence Staff of Turkey and Brazil.
Matters related to bilateral security interest and measures to improve the defence cooperation were discussed.
