Multan (July 23, 2017): Former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should take the nation into confidence if there is any conspiracy, adding that the Supreme Court should announce the final verdict soon to end all speculations and rumors, which have been revolving around Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Former Prime Minister and PPP leader Yousuf Raza Gillani dispelled that likelihood of a clash between institutions. He said that the government would complete its tenure and the next general elections will be held in 2018.
Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani said that PM Sharif should take the nation into confidence if he believes that a conspiracy has been hatched against him.
However, he deplored that no one was interested in electoral reforms and will decry rigging again in the next elections. He said the parliament should pass laws against corruption.
He said the PPP is an ideological party while opportunists and turncoats keep coming around. He said the party firmly believes in freedom of speech and expression.
Gilani said that the safety and security of the nation is in safe hands. He said he was the first person to speak about Indian interference in Balochistan. He further said that the case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jhadhav will be decided as per the law.
