WEB DESK: The worldwide death toll from coronavirus pandemic has risen to over 168,000 while more than two point four million infections have been recorded so far.
The United States is the worst-hit country by far with more than 40,000 deaths and over 750,000 confirmed infections.
In Spain, the cumulative number of coronavirus infection cases surpassed the 200,000 mark, while the daily number of new deaths dropped to 399.
On the other hand, Iran has started opening intercity highways and major shopping centers to stimulate its sanctions-choked economy.
Germany has also started reopening smaller shops.
