Gold Fraud: Dubai Trader Seeks Action Against Tessori

Karachi (March 01, 2018): Hanif Merchant, a Dubai based gold trader approached the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) with a request to take action against Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and gold trader Kamran Tessori over his alleged involvement in a massive gold fraud case.

According to the details, Hanif Merchant wrote a letter to DG FIA and provided evidences and details about the case registered against Tessori in Dubai.    He said that Tessori imported 856,883 Tola Gold and as per agreement he had to return jewelry  of 399,429 Tola but he did not fulfill the accord. He said Tessori misguided the National Accountability Bureau and did not send the jewelry.

Hanif Merchant  urged the investigation agency to take action against the MQM-P leader. Hanif Marchant said that Tessori’s brother Imran Khan, Irfan Khan and his father Akhtar Khan were also involved in the fraud.

Whereas, Kamran Tessori saw a conspiracy behind the allegations. He termed the allegations baseless and said the conspiracy was hatched against him over supporting MQM-P convener Farooq sattar.
