‘Gold’, also starring Mouni Roy as Akshay’s wife, traces the “golden era” of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das (Akshay), a young assistant manager in 1936, who dreams of playing for an independent nation.
Written and directed by Reema Kagti, the film is set to to hit the theatres on 15 August.
