Islamabad (January 18, 2018): The government has started mulling over placing the name of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Tahirul Qadri on Exit Control List on the basis of the terrorism cases filed against him.
According to sources Islamabad administration has already been sent copies of cases registered against the Qadri to interior ministry and ministry likely to put his name on ECL by making foundation to these cases. Islamabad administration has the apprehension that Tahirul Qadri can leave the country.
The case under the anti-terrorism clause had been registered against the Tahirul Qadri and Imran Khan in Islamabad during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s 126-day long sit-in in 2014 against the rigging in 2013 election.
The anti-terrorism court had already been declared them proclaimed offender.
