SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah has said that Federal Government is mulling on how to put all opposition members in jail.
According to details, Khursheed Shah visited a government hospital in Sukkur’s district of Panu Akil. After his visit, the senior politician talked to media representatives where he claimed that he is ready to go to jail ‘any time’.
He added, “They [members of federal government’ wish to send us all to prison and sit in National Assembly alone. We are always prepared to go to prison. We have competed against Zia ul Haq in the past, Fawad Choudhary is nothing [compared to Zia].”
Lashing out at Federal Information minister Fawad Choudhary, Shah said that he must feel ashamed for words said to him by Hamid Khan.
“If someone from my party said such statements for me than I would have committed suicide”, stated Khursheed Shah.
