KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Senator Nihal Hashmi on Friday said that Governor House was cleansed of MQM founder Altaf Hussain’s terrorist.
He was commenting on the removal of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad from office. Hashmi said that on Friday the last ‘symbol of terrorism’ was erased from Governor House.
The PML-N Senator said that the reign of the ‘terrorist’ organisation, which had camped at Governor House for the last 14 years, was ended.
He said that now the ‘MQM’s terrorists’ were ousted from the Governor House and PML-N people would be in.
He dubbed Ibad as a ‘product of dictatorship, saying that during Musharraf’s dictatorship terrorism and targeted killings were promoted in the city.
He questioned as to why the provincial government let the former governor leave the country, claiming that he was wanted in many cases of heinous nature.
