Govt Allocates Over Rs 486.726m For 3G/4G Services

Islamabad(May 25, 2018): Government has allocated over 486.726 million rupees for expansion and up-gradation of (3G/4G) services in the country.

Talking to APP, Spokesperson of Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication said total 2658.713 million rupees have been earmarked for eight ongoing schemes of Information Technology and Telecommunication Division in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).He said ongoing scheme under CPEC include, construction of Cross Border OFC System Between China and Pakistan for International Connectivity of voice/Data Traffic and Provision of Seamless GSM Coverage Along Karakorum highway for Proposed Gwadar–Kashgar Economic Corridor in Gilgit Baltistan.
