LONDON: Government has sought the opinions from NAB, FIA, law ministry and interior ministry for brokering a deal to bring back former finance minister Ishaq Dar with England.
Sources said that Pakistan and England have not reached an agreement to bring back former finance minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) while foreign ministry has sent a possible draft of an agreement with England to the interior ministry on which the interior ministry has asked opinion from NAB, FIA and law ministry.
Sources said that the agreement with England will be finalized after receiving the legal opinions from concerned ministries and institutions.
It is pertinent to mention here that England has expressed willingness to hand over Ishaq Dar to Pakistan on the later request and they also signed the reconciliatory agreement with England but they could not broker an agreement on the matter.
It is also worth mentioning that Ishaq Dar is wanted to the NAB and Accountability Court of Islamabad has issued his permanent arrest warrants after declaring him absconder.
