ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party parliamentary leader Sherry Rehman on Friday demanded ban on ministers continuously remained absent from Senate sessions.
She said that the government was bringing ordinance instead of lawmaking. The PPP senior leader said it seemed that the government did not want to read Article 89 or avoiding to study the regulation.
While talking to journalists outside Parliament House, Rehman said that entry of the ministers should be banned who were not willing to pay respect to the parliament.
She said that presence of the ministers was responsibility of the government while Senate chairman issued warnings many times, however, the absent ministers should have told their motives.
