Govt can Issue Conditional Order: Babar Awan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan on Wednesday said the government can ask for a surety bond from a convicted person who wants to go abroad.

While talking to media persons outside the Islamabad High Court, the PTI leader said: “Government will be answerable if [former prime minister] Nawaz Sharif will not come back after leaving the country.”

“If Nawaz will not return, then people will say ‘Imran Khan has given the NRO’,” he said.

“Nawaz Sharif can refuse from submitting surety bond when he is in a position of making a deal,” Babar said and made it clear that: “Government will not make any deal.”
