Govt Differences With IMF Depreciated: Asad Umar  

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar has said that the government differences with International Monetary Fund (IMF) have diminished while he will attend the annual meeting of IMF in Washington next week.

Talking to journalists in Islamabad Asad Umar said that a new program with the IMF will be settled soon which will facilitate financial dealings with worlds other financial institutions.

The Finance Minister said that the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has to start actions against offshore accounts adding that respond on a letter for removing India from FATF has received.

He rejected the opposition criticism on increasing prices of petroleum goods however, he admitted that government measure increased inflation.

The Finance Minister said that we wanted to present next fiscal year budget on May 24 and over which consultation with Speaker National Assembly is continued
