ISLAMABAD: The government has withdrawn revenue division from Federal Minister Hammad Azhar after Prime Minister Special Assistant (PMSA) on economic affairs Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh expressed his reservation on it.
The government has handed over the revenue division to PMSA on economic affairs Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh and a notification in this regard has also been issued while Hammad Azhar will not see the matters of the division anymore.
Earlier, the government took back the charge of economic affairs from Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh while the cabinet division also issued a notification regarding the change in the portfolio. Hammad Azhar will be the Federal Minister for economic affairs.
It is pertinent to mention here that Hammad Azhar had taken the oath as the Federal Minister and before this, he was working as the minister for the state.
Now he is the Federal Minister for economic affairs.
