LAHORE: Lahore Police has finalized security plan for rally marched by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf tomorrow, while according to officials over 3000 police personnel will perform their duties for the security, whereas security personnel will also ensure scrutiny of people participating in rallies coming from different districts.
According to security officials, Lahore police finalized security plan for PTI Accountability rally, despite serious terrorism threats. Police personnel will be deployed from Shahdra to Chairing Cross and the people participating in rally will be provided an entry and exit route.
According to the administration, Special Branch, Intelligence Bureau and other intelligence agencies personnel will also be deployed for security of rally. Besides, search and sweep operation will be carried out at Faisal roundabout and surrounding areas with the help of Bomb Disposal Squad and sniffer dogs.
Meanwhile, despite all arrangements, police advised PTI leadership to cancel its rally due to terrorists threats. Police officials said that if there was any terrorism incident in PTI rally then PTI leadership will be responsible for that.
